The infinity sign resembles the number 8, a continuous line that circles out and back out over itself into another returning circle.
Our heart space, our focus of purpose and the higher universe is like this infinity symbol.
Envisioning our own heart space as the starting point. A line running from our authentic self, crossing at the point of our individual purpose then out to the the hearts of others and higher. The line then runs back, crossing the point of purpose and coming back to our own heart space fulfilling and vibrant.
A continuous path of giving AND receiving. Of flowing out and flowing back in. If we approach our days in this manner, the ease and enjoyment flow as well. Yet we tend to do the opposite in 2023. Over extending. Grass is greener concept. Rather than nurturing where the universe has planted us, we look for ways in order to "fix" ourselves or others, to try to meet false expectations. What if we just opened our hearts to receiving rather than depleting? What if we nurtured where we are presently rather than looking to what we could have or what is in the future?
The new moon in Taurus took place on the 19th. The moon in taurus represents a time for indulging in nurturing the self, in receiving. A perfect facilitator for opening the heart to possibilities and opportunities, for igniting that infinity sign from our heart to our purpose to others and back again. Aligning our values, our needs, our dreams with our higher path.
Below is a meditation to start that ignition. Try to set a time each day up until the next full moon to lay a foundation for the action of heart fulfillment that you dream of.
Meditation:
*Sitting or standing in a comfortable position, close the eyes.
*Concentrate on the breath, coming into the body and then leaving the body on the exhale.
*Feel the sensation of the cool breath entering the nose and riding down the body into the belly, ribs and chest and then out of the body in the same pattern.
*On the next inhalation direct the breath to the middle of the chest and heart space, envisioning a bright green glow. Then exhale out.
*Next inhale, bring the breath to the heart space as the starting point, mindfully run a line from the heart to your gifts/talents/purpose symbol (this is a personal choice, for mine I choose a lotus flower representing my purpose as a yoga teacher). Continue for a couple of rounds of your own breath - same thoughts.
*Inhale into the heart, down the line to your purpose symbol - light the symbol in a green glow, continue the line from the symbol to others/higher power. Then circle back out the same way following the line back to your heart. Continue, back and forth the figure eight line.
* Again and again, the heart space as the starting point. A line running from our authentic self, crossing at the point of our individual purpose then out to the the hearts of others and higher. The line then runs back, crossing the point of purpose and coming back to our own heart space fulfilling and vibrant. Glowing all along bright green, feeling the breath vibrant and powerful. Feeling a sense of fulfillment and vibrancy.
*Once you feel these vibrations, come back to concentrate on the breath, coming into the body and then leaving the body on the exhale. Feel the sensation of the cool breath entering the nose and riding down the body into the belly, ribs and chest and then out of the body in the same pattern.
*Drop your chin to your chest and flutter your eyes open to your physical space and up to the horizon.
